Installing Crankshaft Vibration Damper

Fit crankshaft vibration damper -1- . Be careful of the dowel pin -2- .

Screw on crankshaft vibration damper
Fit brace T40330/1 -1- .
1. 3.1 Turn the crankshaft so that brace T40330/1 -1- can be fitted.
2. 3.2 Fit brace T40330/1 -1- on the crankshaft vibration damper -2- .
3. 3.3 Fit spacer sleeve T40330/3 -3- underneath and screw in and tighten screw -4- > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

Tighten screw -5- > Initial tightening, Step 1 50 Nm (37 ftlb.) + > Initial tightening, Step 2 100 Nm (74 ftlb.) + > Final tightening 180 Grad

Remove brace T40330/1 -1- .
1. 5.1 Unscrew and remove screw -4- .
2. 5.2 Remove spacer sleeve T40330/3 -3- and brace T40330/1 -1- .
