Remove Crankshaft Sealing Ring

  1. > T40019/4 - Insert pressure piece-1-  into the > T40019 - sealing ring puller-2-  . Secure the > T40019/4 - pressure piece-1-  with butyl tape to prevent it from falling out.

  2. Remove sealing ring -4-  with > T40019 - sealing ring extractor-1-  .

    Using oil seal extractor T40019

    1. 2.1 Set the inner part of the > T40019 - oil seal extractor-1-  so that it is flush with the outer part -2-  , and lock the inner part with the knurled screw -3-  .
    2. 2.2 Oil the threaded head of the > T40019 - sealing ring extractor-1-  , position it and use sufficient force to screw it as far as possible into the sealing ring -4-  .
    3. 2.3 Loosen the knurled screw -3-  and turn the inner part against the crankshaft until the sealing ring is removed.
    4. 2.4 Clamp > T40019 - sealing ring extractor-1-  flats in vice and remove sealing ring with pliers -4-  .
  3. Clean running surfaces and sealing faces.
