Removing Coolant Pump

Information 

If the coolant pump is replaced, the oil-pressure sender must be removed and installed on the new coolant pump.

> 170419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OIL-PRESSURE SENDER (V8 BITURBO)

WARNING: Hot fluid 
  • Danger of scalding 

    → Let the fluid cool down.

    → Wear personal protective gear.

  1. Remove coolant pump -2-  .
    1. 1.1 Have suitable aids ready for collecting emerging coolant.
    2. 1.2 Unscrew and remove screws -1-  .
    3. 1.3 Remove coolant pump -2-  .
    4. 1.4 Collect escaping coolant.
