Removing Main Wire Harness Section For Rear Lid At The Right

NOTE: Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
→ Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).

→ Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

Information

When cutting the wire harness, make sure there is enough length of cable left to join to the new lines.

Release and disconnect electric plug connections on rear-end electronics control unit.

Release and disconnect electric plug connection on rear right shock absorber.

Loosen rear fuse box.

Loosen main wire harness section for rear lid at the right -1- .

1. 4.1 Unclip cable duct -2- (-arrow A- ).
2. 4.2 Unscrew nuts on ground points at right C-pillar -3- .
3. 4.3 Unclip rear right connection point holder -4- (-arrow B- ).
4. 4.4 Unclip clips -5- .
