- Heat stone guard film -1-
using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower
and pull it off.

- Remove adhesive residues using cleaning agent.
Information
- Bonding surfaces must be free of silicone, grease and oil residues.
- Clean the paint surface with isopropanol and rub it dry using a lint-free, moisture-absorbing cloth.
- Coat bonding area with application fluid.

Only pull off thin protective film after bonding.

- Affix stone guard film immediately after spraying.
- Pull off backing sheet and coat the bonding area of the stone guard film with application fluid.
- Taycan Saloon:
Affix stone guard film -1-
along the front edge of the rear wheel arch -2-
with gap dimension -LHD vehicle -
and press it on lightly. Adjust the position slightly if necessary. > Distance 3 mm +/- 1 mm

Place stone guard film -1-
along the wheel cover on the door -2-
with a gap dimension of -LHD vehicle -
and press it on lightly. Adjust the position slightly if necessary. > Distance 3 mm +/- 1 mm

Information
Adhesive is activated by contact pressure. The contact pressure must be at least 2 kg.
- Press on stone guard film from the inside out using a plastic squeegee to squeeze out water and bubbles.
- Pull off thin protective film.
- Dry off the entire area using a lint-free, moisture-absorbing, non-scratching cloth.
- Check affixed stone guard film.
- 11.1 Check that there are no bubbles.
- 11.2 Check that the corners are affixed correctly.
- 11.3 Press them on again if necessary.
