Installing Antenna Cable For Mobile Communication Antenna On Rear Lid

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
→ Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).

→ Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

Information

New electric lines are secured at the mounting points for the old electric lines.
The damaged electric wire harness remains installed in the vehicle.
The damaged electric wire harness is only disconnected directly at connected components.

Information

Do not damage the insulation on the antenna cable during installation.

Release and disconnect electric plug connection on mobile communication antenna on rear lid.

The damaged mobile communication antenna cable on rear lid to main wire harness.
Secure new antenna cable to main wire harness.

Plug in and lock electric plug connection for mobile communication antenna on rear lid.
