Installing Steering Column Casing

  1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

    Tightening torque for screws for instrument cluster trim panel: > Tightening torque 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.) 

    Tightening torque for screws at the top of the steering column: > Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.) 

    Tightening torque for screw at the bottom of the steering column: > Tightening torque 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.)
