Preparing Roof Cut-Out For Roof Assembly

Information 

• The surface coating of adhesive residue helps new adhesive to stick. Keep cut surfaces clean and free of grease and do not clean with cleaning solution. 

1. When removing adhesive residue of the adhesive bead -1-  with a cutter and flashing knife on the body, ensure that a surface coating of adhesive residue remains.

   Information 

   • A drying time of 10 minutes must be observed between cleaning the bonding surface and applying primer! There must be no cleaning solution residues left on the body. 
2. Clean new paint surfaces and damaged areas of the top coat paint in the non-visible area of the roof cut-out in the body with cleaning solution -H1-  and touch up with primer -H2-  .
