Removing Oil Pump

Information 

• Be careful of the bushes when removing the oil pump. These can sometimes remain in the metal bead gasket or fall into the engine. 
• The oil pump must never be re-installed without the bushes. 

Information 

Use > VAS 6928 - Socket wrench set, 39-piece  to loosen the screw on the sprocket.

1. Remove oil intake tube -1-  .
   1. 1.1 Unscrew screws -2-  .
   2. 1.2 Remove oil intake tube -1-  .

2. Remove sprocket guard -1-  .
   1. 2.1 Unscrew screws -2-  .
   2. 2.2 Remove sprocket guard -1-  .

3. Remove sprocket -1-  .
   1. 3.1 Use > T10172 - counter-hold tool-2-  to counter at the sprocket -1-  .
   2. 3.2 Unscrew screw -3-  using > VAS 6928 - Socket wrench set, 39-piece  .
   3. 3.3 Remove sprocket -1-  .

4. Remove oil pump -1-  .
   1. 4.1 Unscrew screws -2-  .
   2. 4.2 Remove oil pump -1-  with seal.
