Removing Steering Wheel: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Turn wheels to straight-ahead position.
  2. Only for vehicles with heated steering wheel (l-no. 1XE, 1XG, 2FF, 2FG, 2FX or 2ZH): 

    Release and disconnect electric plug connection for steering wheel heating -1-  .

  3. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for airbag

    Information 

    After unscrewing the screw and before  removing the steering wheel, mark the position of the steering wheel relative to the steering column.

  4. Unscrew and remove screw -1-  .

  5. Remove steering wheel.
