Removing Battery Sensor

→ Switch off ignition and remove remote control (hand-held transmitter).
Disconnect ground strap with battery sensor -1- from the battery.

Unscrewing ground strap
Loosen screws on cover strip -1- and remove cover strip.

Release and disconnect electric plug connection -5- on the battery sensor.

Releasing and pulling off electric plug connection
Unscrew nut -6- and remove ground strap with battery sensor -1- .

Removing battery sensor

NOTE: Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
→ Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).

→ Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

Disconnect ground terminal with battery sensor -1- from the battery.
