Adapters For Cleaning The Refrigerant Circuit

Information
- You can blow compressed air and nitrogen through the refrigerant circuit in certain cases, e.g. if only individual components have to be cleaned.
- Compressed air and then nitrogen must only be blown through the refrigerant circuit if it is not possible to flush the refrigerant circuit or if it would take too much time and effort to flush individual components (it takes very little time to blow small particles of dirt and moisture, for example, out of removed refrigerant lines).
- Blowing compressed air and nitrogen through the entire refrigerant circuit generally involves considerably more work than cleaning (flushing) with refrigerant R1234yf or R134a. Flushing with refrigerant R1234yf or R134a also cleans the components much better. The refrigerant circuit should therefore always be flushed in the event of a problem (blasting with compressed air and nitrogen should only be used for certain problems and for individual components).
- Under certain conditions, blasting certain components (e.g. individual refrigerant lines or refrigerant hoses) with compressed air (e.g. for removing old refrigerant machine oil from individual removed components) or with nitrogen (for drying individual components) may be sufficient, for example.
