Replacing Double-Clutch Transmission

- The oil level must be checked before performing commissioning of new assemblies (engine, transmission, final drive, etc.).

- Only for vehicles without hybrid drive:
- 1.1 Convert input shaft.
Input shaft
- 1.1.1 Coat shaft splines -3- with Longtime 3EP.
- 1.1.2 Carefully fit input shaft -1- until circlip -2- engages -Arrow- .
- 1.2 Revuild starter.
- 1.3 Convert wire harness for B+ -4-

-1 and 2- > Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
-3- > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
Wire harness for B+ to transmission
- 1.1 Convert input shaft.
- Convert add-on parts.
- 2.1 Convert vibration balancer -6-
.
-7- > Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
- 2.2 Convert heat shields -2 and 3-
.
-1- > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
- 2.3 Convert deflector -4-
.
Screw in and tighten new screws -5- .
> Initial tightening 4 Nm (3 ftlb.) > Torque angle 45°

Heat shield and vibration balancer
- 2.1 Convert vibration balancer -6-

Convert vibration damper.
> Removing and installing vibration damper
- Convert exhaust system holder -2-

-1- > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) .
