Installing Front Lid Seal

Information 

• Before refitting the seal, check it for damage and replace it if necessary. 
• Fit seal without additional sealing compound. 
• During installation, keep the seal away from hot engine components because otherwise the seal can become damaged. 

1. Centre the rear seal -2-  on the plenum panel and starting at the Centre, press it onto the cowl panel.

2. First fit the ends of the front seal -1-  and then press the remaining Centre part on evenly.
