Removing D-Pillar Reinforcement

Information 

Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

1. Mark and make cut -A-  . > Distance Approx. 52 mm 

   Cut

2. Only for Panamera Sport Turismo 

   Drill through clinch point in area -A-  . > Diameter 4 mm

3. Drill through clinch points. > Diameter 4 mm

4. Only for Panamera Saloon 

   Drill out spotwelds.

   1. 4.1 Drill out spotwelds in area -A-  from inside.
   2. 4.2 Drill out remaining spotwelds.

5. Only for Panamera Sport Turismo 

   Drill through spotwelds.

   1. 5.1 Drill out spotwelds in area -A-  from inside.
   2. 5.2 Drill out remaining spotwelds.

6. Drill out spotwelds on the side roof frame section.

7. Heat bonding area using > V.A.G 1416 - Hot-Air Blower  .

8. Guide D-pillar reinforcement out to the rear.
