Preparing Connection Areas Of Body For Installing Inner Side Panel (Saloon)

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

1. Align the sealing surfaces and connections of the body.
2. De-burr connection points and prepare them for joining.
3. Remove excess pieces of the bulkhead part -1-  and reinforcement -2-  on the body.

4. Prepare the marked areas for welding.
   1. 4.1 Prepare marked areas -A-  for applying a full weld.
   2. 4.2 Prepare the remaining marked areas for plug-welding using inert gas.

6. Prepare the marked area for applying body structural foam.
