Installing Rear Cross Member

1. Install rear cross member and check that it fits perfectly.

   > 5X00IN GAP DIMENSIONS

   Information 

   • Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
   • The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
   • Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

   Information 

   • Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. 
2. Apply adhesive on joint areas of the body. > Application depth 0.5 mm 

   Use body structural adhesive.

   • Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. 
3. Apply adhesive on the rear cross member. > Application depth 0.5 mm 
   1. 3.1 Also apply a bead of adhesive all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm

   Install rear cross member.

   1. 4.1 Rivet in rear cross member in area -A-  . > BLIND RIVET 999.190.227.01 
   2. 4.2 Rivet in rear cross member in areas -B-  . > FLOW-FORM RIVET 9A7.008.606.00

5. Only for Panamera Sport Turismo 

Install rear cross member.
