- Remove wheel.

- Remove sill cover.

- Remove front apron.

Only for right wing, vehicles with auxiliary heater (I-no. 851):
- Remove heater.

- Remove the windscreen-washer reservoir.

Only for left wing:
- Loosen holder with DME control unit and set it aside.
