Installing Antenna Line (Connection Point In Roof To Pcm)
NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.
Information
- New electric lines are secured at the mounting points for the old electric lines.
- The old electric wire harness remains installed in the vehicle.
- The old electric wire harness is only disconnected directly at connected components.
Information
- Make sure not to damage the insulation when installing the electric wire harness.
- Disconnect antenna line at the connection point in the roof.
- Cut off electric plug connections on the damaged antenna line, insulate it and secure it to the main wire harness.
Information
The electric plug connection is connected when installing the PCM.
- Route new antenna line along the main wire harness, guide it through the existing cable ducts and secure it to the main wire harness using tie-wraps.
- Route new antenna line at the connection point in the roof and secure it.
