Removing Centre Air Vent

Information 

• A repair kit with fleece, retaining frame and plastic foam strip is being implemented for the centre vent. 
• Until the spare parts are used, the centre vent must be replaced if it is damaged following removal. 

1. Remove centre air vent -1-  .

   Remove the air vent using two  > T10389 - assembly tools-2-  .

   Centre air vent

   1. 1.1  Insert two > T10389 - assembly tools  into the air vent at the bottom left and right and push them through the fleece at the rear.
   2. 1.2  Hook tools -2-  in behind the retaining frame -Arrows-  .

   3. 1.3  Carefully pull both tool handles at the same time. The clips (-Position 2 as shown Step 2-  ) are pressed over by the uniform tension.
   4. 1.4  If the fleece -3-  is damaged during removal, the air vent must be replaced. Otherwise, the fleece can be clamped behind the frame -4-  again and the air vent -1-  can be re-used.
2. Release and disconnect electric plug connections -3-  .
