Installing Coolant Regulator

Information 

Install seals with open side facing the engine.

1. Fit new  seals -1 and 3-  .

   Coolant regulator seals (similar to illustration)

   1. 1.1  Push in seal -1-  as far as it will go using > T40357 - thrust piece-2-  .
   2. 1.2  Insert seal -3-  .
      WARNING: Hot fluid 

      • Danger of scalding 
        1. → Let the fluid cool down.
        2. → Wear personal protective gear.
2. Install coolant regulator -1-  .

   Coolant regulator

   1. 2.1  Position coolant regulator -1-  .
   2. 2.2  Fit and tighten screws -2-  .
      1. Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) 
3. Secure electric line to coolant regulator.

   Electric plug connection for coolant regulator

   1. 3.1  Connect and lock electric plug connection -1-  .
   2. 3.2  Clip in clips -2-  .
4. Install coolant pipe -2-  .

   Coolant pipe

   1. 4.1  Replace coolant pipe seals.
   2. 4.2  Position coolant pipe -2-  .
   3. 4.3  Fit and tighten screws for coolant pipe -1-  .
      1. Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
