Installing Coolant Pump

Information 

Coat all O-rings with Kluber Syntheso Glep 1.

1. Install coolant pump -9-  .

   Coolant pump screws

   1. 1.1  Replace coolant pump seal.
   2. 1.2  Position coolant pump -9-  .
   3. 1.3  Screw in screws for coolant pump -1 to 7-  .
   4. 1.4  Tighten screws for coolant pump in the sequence -1 to 7-  .

      Stage 1  Screws -1 and 2-  :

      1. Initial tightening 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) 

      Stage 2  Screws -1 to 7-  :

      1. Final tightening 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) 
   5. 1.5  Connect vacuum hose -8-  .
2. Install coolant pipe over coolant pump -1-  .

   Coolant pipe on cylinder head

   1. 2.1  Replace O-rings.
   2. 2.2  Position coolant pipe over coolant pump -1-  .
   3. 2.3  Screw in and tighten screws for coolant pipe -2-  .
      1. Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) 
3. Install pulley -1-  .

   Coolant pump pulley

   1. 3.1  Position pulley -1-  .
   2. 3.2  Screw in and tighten screws for pulley -3-  and counter at the same time using > T10172A - counter-hold tool-2-  .
      1. Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) 
4. Install coolant pipe -1-  .

   1. 4.1  Replace O-rings.
   2. 4.2  Position coolant pipe -1-  .
   3. 4.3  Screw in and tighten screws for coolant pipe -2-  .
      1. Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
