Removing Coolant Reservoir

  1. Remove air inlet housing cover -1-  .

    1. 1.1  Unscrew nuts -2-  .
    2. 1.2  Remove air inlet housing cover -1-  .
  2. Disconnect electric line -1-  from coolant reservoir.

    1. 2.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .
    2. 2.2  Unclip clips -3-  .
  3. Remove coolant reservoir -1-  .

    1. 3.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .
    2. 3.2  Unclip clip -3-  .
    3. 3.3  Release and disconnect quick connector -4-  .
    4. 3.4  Unclip vent line -5-  from coolant reservoir -Arrow-  .
    5. 3.5  Loosen spring band clamp -6-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamp pliers  and pull off coolant hose -7-  .
      1. 3.5.1  Soak up any emerging coolant using suitable aids.
      2. 3.5.2  Close off connection openings using suitable stoppers.
  4. 3.6  Lift up retaining clip -8-  and pull off coolant hose -9-  .
    1. 3.6.1  Soak up any emerging coolant using suitable aids.
    2. 3.6.2  Close off connection openings using suitable stoppers.
  5. 3.7  Unscrew screw -10-  .
  6. 3.8  Pull coolant reservoir -1-  up out of the holders -11-  .
