Risk of contaminating the lubricating system
- Open parts of the cylinder head must be covered.
- Release and disconnect line connection for positive crankcase ventilation -1-
and move it aside.

- Open parts of the oil cooler must be covered.
- Remove oil cooler -1-

Oil cooler
- 2.1 Unscrew screws on oil cooler -2- .
- 2.2 Loosen oil cooler -1- and remove it.
- 2.3 Remove residual sealant from the oil cooler -1- and cylinder block using a rotating plastic brush.
- Replace seals -1-
