Installing Oil Cooler

Information 

Risk of contaminating the lubricating system 

• Open parts of the cylinder head must be covered. 

1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

   Oil cooler seal

   1. 1.1  Clean the sealing face -2-  .

      Information 

      The oil cooler must be installed within 5 minutes.

   2. 1.2  Cut off the nozzle on the tube at the front marking (nozzle diameter: approx. 1.5 mm) and apply a bead of sealant measuring approx. 3 mm in diameter all around the cleaned and degreased sealing face -2-  .
   3. 1.3  Tighten screws on oil cooler.
      • Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
