Information On Wheel Bolts

• Use a suitable commercially available tool (a/f 19 mm). No force or impact tools allowed (for example, impact drivers).
• Wheel bolts must never be reworked.
• Replace damaged wheel bolts.
• Examples of damage: Damage to thread and spherical cap, seizure of screw head and spherical cap ring, binding of wheel screws.
• It must be possible to turn the spherical cap ring on the bolt shank and move it in axial direction.
• Do not grease the wheel bolts and security wheel bolts.

1. Cap ring (permanently connected)
2. Spherical cap bearing surface facing the rim → do not grease
3. Thread → do not grease
