Subsequent Work

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install wire harness.

    > WM, 381819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WIRE HARNESS 

  2. Install ATF pump.

    > 385619 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING ATF PUMP 

  3. Install double clutch.

    > 304919 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING DOUBLE CLUTCH

  4. Top up oil for final drive.

    > 399055 - CHANGING OIL FOR FINAL DRIVE

    Information 

    The PIWIS Tester  instructions take precedence since the description may be different with later Tester releases.

    The procedure described here has been structured in general terms. Different text or additional information may appear on the PIWIS Tester. 

  5. Calibrate sensor module using the PIWIS Tester. 
    1. 5.1  Connect the PIWIS Tester  to the vehicle and start it. Switch on ignition.
    2. 5.2  Select the required vehicle type.
    3. 5.3  Select PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK))  control unit and press F12  to continue
    4. 5.4  Select the Maintenance/repairs  menu and press to confirm your selection.
    5. 5.5 Calibrate  must be selected. Then press F12  to continue.
    6. 5.6 Calibration after replacing sensor module (selector-lever position)  must be selected. Then press to start the process.
    7. 5.7  The message "Calibration completed successfully" appears. Press to end the process.
    8. 5.8  Switch off the ignition.
    9. 5.9  Wait 30 seconds.
    10. 5.10  Switch on the ignition.
