Removing Double Clutch Transmission

WARNING:
Danger of objects or loads falling down
- Risk of squashing or crushing
→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.
- Only if not performed while removing engine:
Unscrew drive plate screws -1- .
Drive plate screws
- 1.1 Remove service cover 2 . on double clutch transmission.
- 1.2 Turn the engine at the crankshaft as far as required in direction of rotation of the engine until one drive plate screw -1- is accessible.
- 1.3 Unscrew drive plate screw Get a second mechanic to counter at the crankshaft at the same time.
- 1.4 Repeat this procedure for the other two drive plate screws -1- .
- Loosen the starter.

- 2.1 Unscrew screw.
- 2.2 Pull the starter away from the double clutch transmission slightly by hand and leave it at this position.
- Loosen double clutch transmission.

Unscrew screws -1 to 5-.

Unscrew screws -1 to 5-.
- Suspend double clutch transmission using workshop crane and >
T40294 - hook and support tool
.
- 4.1 > T40294 - Hook and support tool must then be aligned. Insert suitable hooks if necessary.
- Guide double clutch transmission away from the engine with the help of another person and lift it off on > T40294 - hook and support tool.
