Removing Ignition Coils (Right Cylinder Bank)

Information 

• Before doing any other work, the ignition must be switched off and the remote control (hand-held transmitter) must be kept outside of the transmission range (at least 2 m). 

1. Only when removing ignition coils for cylinder 2 or 3: 

   Remove torque support bracket -1-  .

   1. 1.1  Unscrew screws -2 and 3-  .
   2. 1.2  Remove torque support bracket -1-  .

2. Only when removing ignition coils for cylinder 2 or 3: 

   Loosen cable duct for engine wire harness -1-  .

   1. 2.1  Unclip line -2-  from the cable duct -1-  .
   2. 2.2  Release and disconnect cable plug -3-  .
   3. 2.3  Pull cable duct -1-  off ball pins and set it aside.

3. Remove ignition coils -1-  .
   1. 3.1  Unscrew screws on ignition coils -2-  .
   2. 3.2  Pull off ignition coils -1-  .
