Installing Catalytic Converter

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.

1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
   1. 1.1  Replace V-band clamp.
   2. 1.2  Tighten new  V-band clamp.
      1. Tightening torque 7 Nm (5.2 ftlb.) 
   3. 1.3  Tighten screw for spring/tab assembly.
   4. 1.4  Replace nuts and seals on front silencer exhaust flange.
   5. 1.5  Tighten new  nuts.
      1. Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)
