Removing Side Section Lower Part

Information

Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

Drill out spotwelds using > VAS 882 001 - spot-weld breaker .

1. 1.1 Drill out spotweld -A - from the inside.
Remove side section lower part.

1. 2.1 Heat marked areas using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower .
2. 2.2 Make a sufficient gap between the side section -1- and side section lower part -2- .
3. 2.3 Remove side section lower part.
