Mark and make the required cut. > Distance 20 mm

Remove spotwelds.

Information

Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.
1. 2.1 Drill out spot welds-LHD vehicle - through one layer of sheet metal using > Nr.129 - spot weld drill; see Workshop Equipment Manual, Group 2.4 .
2. 2.2 Drill out spot weld -RHD vehicle - through two layers of sheet metal.
