Setting Flow-Form Rivets

We recommend that you use punch D19 with thread. Screw punch D19 securely in the piston rod using the supplied wrench set.

Adapt the pressure setting on the > VAS 6790 - Compact Booster to the existing plate thicknesses of the connection points:
- Connection thickness 2 - 3 mm: Pressure setting 3
- Connection thickness 3 - 4 mm: Pressure setting 3.5
- Connection thickness 4 - 5 mm: Pressure setting 4
The pressed-out or pulled-out punch rivets and drilled-out penetrated joints can be replaced by flow-form rivets during repairs if a low joint height is also required. Contrary to the standard procedure, all riveted joints are also bonded.
