WARNING: Electric welding
  • Risk of electric shock or burns

    → Wear personal protective gear.

    → Disconnect both battery terminals.

→ Do not weld in a damp area or when it is wet under foot.

→ Move highly inflammable materials out of the work area. Vertilate the work area well.

→ Remove smoke gases with an extraction system.

→ Read specific safety information for the welder.

→ Check that welder is working perfectly before use.

Information

The welding process can only be started if the welding current circuit is closed. For this purpose, there must be electric contact between the welding element and workpiece.

    Welding on weld stud

    1. 4.1  Check welding parameters.
    2. 4.2  When using aluminium studs, remove the oxide coating on the weld stud by sanding it down.
    3. 4.3  Position welding gun straight onto the workpiece and check that the welding gun attachment is seated evenly and securely.
    4. 4.4  Start welding by pressing the trigger.
    5. 4.5  Wait at least 2 seconds to allow the molten weld pool to cool down and set.

Information
