Removing Rear Upper Part Of Lid Lock

WARNING: Electrically moved components
  • Danger of limbs being trapped or severed 

→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.
→ Make sure it does not switch on again.
→ Check that there is no electric charge.
NOTE: Voltage peaks
  • Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 

→ Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).
→ Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.
  1. Release electric plug connections -1-  and disconnect them -Arrows-  .

  2. Remove cover for rear lock upper part -1-  (-Arrow-  ).

  3. Unscrew screws -1-  and remove upper part of rear lid lock.
