Removing rear actuating cylinders

Incorrect handling of actuating cylinders
→ The actuating cylinders must be in idle state in order to remove them.
→ Open the lid fully.
→ Ensure the end position of the lid manually.
→ Secure the lid after removing the actuating cylinders to prevent it from closing accidentally.
→ Do not use force when opening he actuating cylinders due to the high internal pressure.

- Press rubber sleeve out of the rear lid.
- Guide out electric line.
- A second person should hold the rear lid to prevent it from closing accidentally.
- Remove actuating cylinder for rear lid.

- 5.1 Insert a screwdriver between the actuating cylinder rear lid -2- and safety clip -1- .
- 5.2 Lift up the safety clip -1- by levering the screwdriver -arrow A- . The safety clip -1- remains on the actuating cylinder rear lid -2- .
- 5.3 Remove actuating cylinder for rear lid -2- from the ball joint -arrow B- .
- Loosen and remove the actuating cylinder rear lid on the body side in the same way.
