Removing Rear Lid Release

  1. Release and pull off electric plug connection.
  2. Remove rear lid release -1-  .

    Rear lid release

    1. 2.1  At the outer edge of the rear lid release switch -1-  , insert a plastic wedge no deeper than 2.5 mm  between the rear lid release switch -1-  and rear window -2-  as shown in the illustration -arrow A-  .
    2. 2.2  Push the plastic wedge straight down -arrow A-  and unclip the rear lid release switch -1-  from the retainer plate -arrow B-  . Do not use force on the retainer plate.
