Use a marking pen to mark the position of accessories with respect to each other before removal in order to reduce the amount of adjustment work required for gaps and joints.

- Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or a similar component.
- Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.
- Remove front lid.
- Remove cowl panel cover.
- Only for front right lid hinge:
Remove cover on alarm siren.

- Remove pneumatic spring on the lid side.
