Installing Upper Part Of Front Lid Lock

Information

The self-locking nuts must always be replaced.

Fit nuts -1- so that the upper part of front lid lock -2- can still be moved.

Adjust upper part of front lid lock -1- with respect to the front lid according to the noted position (factory impression) -Arrow- .

Position of upper part of front lid lock
Lower the front lid slowly until the clip for the upper part of front lid lock -1- is touching the lower part of front lid lock. The clip must be centred flush with the slit in the lower part of front lid lock -2- .

Lower part of front lid lock
Tighten nuts -1- to > Tightening torque 8 (6 ftlb.) Nm .
