Removing Headlight Mounting

Information 

Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure net to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

Information 

Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

1. Roughly cut out headlight mounting -Arrows-  .

2. Drill out spotwelds. > VAS 6322A - Pneumatic spotweld remover  and > VAS 882 001 - Spotweld remover

3. Heat the marked bonding surface.

4. Remove support.
5. Remove bracket for front side member.

   Remaining pieces of bracket for front side member

   1. 5.1  Drill out spotwelds. > VAS 6322A - Pneumatic spotweld remover  and > VAS 882 001 - Spotweld remover 
   2. 5.2  Remove remaining pieces.
6. Remove headlight mounting.

   1. 6.1  Drill out spotwelds. > VAS 6322A - Pneumatic spotweld remover  > VAS 882 001 - Spotweld remover 
   2. 6.2  Grind down welded seams -Arrows-  .
   3. 6.3  Remove remaining pieces.
