Installing Headlight Mounting

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

Information 

Position the headlight mounting using a straightening set.

1. Install headlight mounting and fit it using a straightening set. Check gap dimensions.

   > 5X00IN GAP DIMENSIONS

2. Apply adhesive in the marked area on the body.

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface.

   > Application depth 0.5 mm

3. Apply adhesive in the marked areas on the support.

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface.

   > Application depth 0.5 mm 

   1. 3.1  Also apply an adhesive bead of sealant all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm

   1. 8  .1  Apply a full weld to the area -Arrows-  using inert gas.
9. Apply a full weld to the marked area using inert gas.
