Preliminary Work

Disconnect battery ground strap.

Remove front carrier at the right.

Remove right headlight.

Remove front retaining strip at the right.

Remove pedestrian protection.

On V6 turbo vehicles:
1. 6.1 Remove both air guides for the charge-air cooler.
2. 6.2 Remove charge-air cooler at the right lock carrier side section and secure it in the wheel housing.
