Draining Oil For All-Wheel Final Drive (Transmission Oil)

WARNING: Hot fluid

Danger of scalding
→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

Information

The transmission/final drive must be stopped for at least 15 minutes to allow for internal oil level adjustment.

Drain oil for all-wheel final drive.

1.1 Unscrew inspection plug and filler screw -3- .
1.2 Unscrew drain plug -5- .
1.3 Collect emerging oil in a suitable container.

1.4 Tighten drain plug -5- .

> Tightening - torque 60 Nm (44 ftlb.)
