Installing Tie Rod

- Install tie rod -1-

Tie rod ball joint
- 1.1 Fit tie rod -1- and screw it as far as it will go into the rack-and-pinion -3- by hand.
- 1.2 Tighten the octagon -2-
using > V.A.G 1923 - open-end spanner insert, a/f 38
. Make sure not to damage the rack-and-pinion -3-
.
> Tightening - torque 100 Nm (74 ftlb.)
