Removing Intermediate Steering Shaft

Information

The sealing bellows and intermediate steering shaft are one unit.
The sealing bellows cannot be removed from the intermediate steering shaft.

Loosen intermediate steering shaft -3- from the steering column -1- .

Mounting for steering column on intermediate steering shaft
1. 1.1 Unscrew screw -2- .
2. 1.2 Pull intermediate steering shaft -3- off the steering column -1- .
Remove intermediate steering shaft -1- from the steering gear -3- .

Mounting for intermediate steering shaft on steering gear
1. 2.1 Unscrew screw -2- .
2. 2.2 Pull intermediate steering shaft -1- off the steering gear -3- .
Release sealing bellows -1- at the tabs -Arrows- and guide it into the passenger compartment.
