Installing Steering Column (Centre)

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

Screw in screws -1 and 2- for the steering column -3- at the top on the retaining frame, but do not tighten yet.

Screw in screws -1- for the steering column -2- at the bottom, but do not tighten yet.

Tighten screws -1 and 2- .
> Tightening - torque 20 Nm (14.8 ftlb.)

Tighten screws -1- .
> Tightening - torque 20 Nm (14.8 ftlb.)

Mounting for steering column, bottom
Fit intermediate steering shaft -3- as far as it will go onto the steering column -1- .
Information

Always replace the clamping screw on the universal joint.
Replace, fit and tighten screw on universal joint -2- .
> Initial - tightening 20 Nm (14.8 ftlb.)
