Removing Steering Wheel

  1. Turn wheels to straight-ahead position.
  2. Disconnect electric plug connections at the steering wheel.

    Electric plug connections

    1. 2.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection for airbag wiring harness -1-  .
    2. 2.2 If the vehicle has a heated steering wheel  : Release and disconnect electric plug connection for heated steering wheel -2-  .
  3. Unscrew screw -1-  .

  4. Remove steering wheel.
