Installing Drive Shaft Bearing

Install new thrust washer -1- .

Mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic press
- Risk of squashing
  → Read specific safety information for the press.
  
  → Check that the press is working perfectly before use, particularly the safety components.

Install new bearing in the double clutch cover.

2.1 Press in bearing using > VW511 - thrust washer-1- as far as it will go.

Fit new circlip -1- .

Circlip
1. 3.1 Clean the sealing face.
2. 3.2 Insert circlip -1- fully into the groove and check that it is seated correctly.
