Preparing Outer Side Member For Installation

Adhesive must not be applied to areas to be plug-welded or fully welded using inert gas.

Fit outer side member.

1.1 Cut outer side member at the transitions to the body leaving an overlap of 30 mm.

Prepare outer side member for bonding and welding.

Green	Resistance spot-welding + bonding
Blue	Bonding
Red	Resistance spot-welding/apply a full weld using inert gas without bonding
