Installing A-Pillar

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

1. Install A-pillar and check that it fits perfectly. Check gap dimensions.

   > 5X00IN GAP DIMENSIONS

   1. 1.1  Apply adhesive to marked areas. > Application depth 3.0 mm

2. Resistance spot-weld the A-pillar.

3. Apply a full weld to the A-pillar using inert gas -Arrows-  .

4. Install wing.
   1. 4.1  Secure wing rail to wing and fit it.
   2. 4.2  Plug-weld the wing rail -1-  using inert gas -A-  .
   3. 4.3  Apply a full weld to the area -Arrows-  using inert gas.

5. Install wing bracket.
   1. 5.1  Resistance spot-weld the wing bracket in area -A-  .
   2. 5.2  Apply a full weld to areas -Arrows-  using inert gas.
